Runway Report Paris Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2013-2014

This past week, during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, Jean Paul Gaultier showed his Haute Couture collection: It was all about Cat Women, big lady cats, to be precise: lionesses, tigresses, cougars, all of it. Here's a taste:The Look: Cougar Couture. Lots of animal prints--from a leopard-spotted biker jacket to a FAB "cat Woman" coat of feathers. There were gorgeous leathers and perfect tailored suitings.

Gaultier ventured into Claude Montana/Thierry Mugler zone with some puffy exaggerated rounded shoulder jackets that screamed late 80's/early 90's and yet still, seemed perfect for now, or at least if you were Lady Gaga. Now, speaking of divas, Nabila--a model(and I use the term loosely) and French Reality TV show personality of Algerian origin--almost ended the show (she came before the bride) in a bustier gown that, well, the word bustier should have her face next to it, in the dictionary. Don't miss the runway video at the end of this post. Love it!!

xoxo;)
